This site is mainly intended to be a repository for Dark Elf related fanfiction and fan art. If you'd like to submit your fanfic or fan art, please read the submissions FAQ. Are you someone who tends to do a lot of their book shopping via Amazon.com? If so, I'd like to direct your attention to a frequently forgotten resource right here on LE: the Store.
The LE Store connects right to Amazon.com and contains books, video games and other odds and ends that might interest you, but the real magic is in the url. Go to any book in the store and click on the Amazon link, then look up at the address bar. Do you see that part on the end that says "/councilofelro-20"? Every book, every video game bought from a link containing that bit contributes money to help defray server costs for this site. With server costs running around $300 US a month, every little bit helps!

BlogCritics has reviewed the graphic novel The Legend of Drizzt Book 1: Homeland, recommending it highly for "anyone who’d favor the classic fantasy genre, with swords, magic and heroic deeds".
Andrew Dabb, who adapted the series to a comics script, is applauded for maintaining drama and suspense while not losing the important details. Artist Tim Seelly also received kudos for his clean and beautiful traditional fantasy style and "easy to follow frames with expressive characters".

JoBlo.com's "C'mon Hollywood!" columnist J.A. Hamilton is calling out for more epic fantasy films to be made and states that R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Do'Urden and Homeland would "slay the box office" if ever let loose on the big screen. He even suggests a couple of potential candidates to play the dark elf should such a film even be seriously considered. Do his suggestions match up with your own? Look here to see.

Rivka has officially handed over the Administration of Lavender Eyes to me. She will be staying on as technical adviser (to keep me from breaking anything too badly).
