For those who found The Stowaway a bit of a disappointment, The Shadowmask promises to be a much more engaging read. Cindy Hannikman, writing for Fantasy Book Critic, describes The Shadowmask as much more balanced between action and information gathering. Even Drizzt's cameo appearance is more of a key role than a peripheral one. You can read the entire review here.
